Jimmy is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, and also trained with the National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain. He has visited all five continents on theatre, rock and concert stages as a conductor, composer, arranger, orchestrator and performer.

Co-arrangements and orchestrations include The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (U.S. Tour) All You Need Is Love! (Queens & U.K. Tour) Eliot Ness (Cleveland Playhouse, Ohio) Iris (London Symphony Orchestra, Abbey Road) Every Breath You Take (Opera Pacific, Los Angeles) You Do Belong (Cast) Some Things Last For Ever (Beverley Stone) You Are So Beautiful (Billy Preston) and Long Distance Runaround (Jon Anderson).Jimmy produced the initial recording of Richard Stilgoe’s Upside Down Sailor, and worked for Nick Ingman on Lionel Richie’s Live In Hanover and Eric Clapton’s Grammy award winning Reptile.

(The Travel Channel) Blue Peter, Royal Variety Performance, Jim’ll fix it, Spotlight, The Listening, The Royal Variety Performance, Live from the Dominion (BBC) Highway (ITV) and The Big Breakfast Millennium Night (C4). 

Jimmy wrote the music for the musical 'Walk With The Angels' which workshopped in London in July, and also wrote the score to the reading of 'The Shadow Master' for Dragonfly Films, starring Tom Conti, Patricia Hodge, Janie Dee, Sheridan Morley and Judy Campbell.

Last year Jimmy completed a three year worldwide tour with Roger Daltrey, Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper, Tony Hadley, Billy Preston, Jon Anderson, Paul Young, Paul Rodgers, Gary Brooker and the British Rock Symphony with stadium and arena performances in the United States, Australia, the U.K., Europe and South America.
